2019 Land Rover Discovery Redesign in USA
The new British all-terrain vehicle built on the basis of Discovery of the fifth generation became the first representative of the Land Rover brand, which received the badge “SVX”. The car’s new product received increased ground clearance, a V8 petrol engine with a capacity of 525 horsepower, toothy tires and other improvements. Discovery SVX is significantly different from the standard “fellow” – to identify it allows a redesigned bumper with silver protective inserts.
Inside, the SVX version of Discovery stands out against the backdrop of the “civilian” model of the Lunar and Light Oyster seats with X-punched perforation and SVX embossing, orange accents and the joystick of the automatic gearbox instead of the swivel washer. All heated seats, even the third row, first and second row seats with ventilation, the driver’s and passenger’s seats with massage function and electric drive. In the rest – it is still an attractive, solid and modern salon decoration, which is cut from expensive finishing materials, which has a five- or seven-seat layout.
Under the hood of the car there is a petrol V-shaped “eight” in volume of 5.0 liters with the drive supercharger Eaton. It is installed together with an 8-speed “automatic” and four-wheel drive transmission with an active central differential, lowering transmission and electronically locked rear diff, and an improved off-road assistant.
The SUV is equipped with independent air suspension of both axles
and an active hydraulic roll suppression system called H-ARC. The car is equipped with an electric power steering with a variable ratio and brake discs.
The sales of New Discovery in Europe are planned for 2018. If you believe the rumors, the price of a new SUV will be up to 40 thousand dollars.
